International Program Participation Increases at GT

Primary tabs

Georgia Tech's student body is heralded as being one of the most international and globalized in the United States. This is due, in no small part, to the excellent study abroad opportunities offered to students by the Office of International Education.

Each year, OIE produces a report outlining the previous year's student participation in international programs. And, the 2009-2010 academic year was an overwhelming success with student participation above 41% of Bachelors recipients.

Stand out colleges include the Ivan Allen College with 66% of undergraduates participating in international programs before graduation and the College of Architecture at 47%. Growth was seen across the board; CoS student participation in international programs increased 7% from the 2007-2008 school year. This growth is the largest of all six colleges for the time period.
