Udta India | Sankranti and Republic Day Celebrations

Every year on the 26th of January, Indians all over the world join together in commemorating the signing of the Indian constitution in 1950. This event marked the creation of the largest democracy in the world and established India as a leading independent world power.
Come out to fly kites, eat samosas, and chat over some chai with your fellow India Club members! Don’t worry if you’ve never flown kites before because we have experienced professionals to help you out!
Kites will be flown from 2:30-4 p.m. on Tech Green! At 4 p.m. we will also raise a flag to celebrate India's 71st Republic Day and begin serving chai and samosas in the outdoor amphitheater. The event is free for everyone so stop by to have some fun!
