Yuz Aleshkovsky - Renowned Poet, Author, Songwriter, Dissident

Yuz Aleshkovsky is a living legend, a poet, song-writer and dissident, whose inimitable songs quickly became urban folklore, a brilliant prose author. He will give a concert performing his songs, reading poetry and talking with the audience. The event is co-sponsored by Emory Russian Program and REES and the Georgia Tech Critical Languages Song Project (School of Modern Languages).
Admission and parking are free.  Students or others interested in taking advantage of free van transportation to Emory should write to Stuart Goldberg at sgoldberg@gatech.edu.
