Our Beloved Community

Dr. King often spoke of the notion of the beloved community as a way of transforming people and relationships and creating communities grounded in reconciliation, friendship, and human dignity. The Department of Housing and Residence Life at Georgia Tech will honor this ideal by celebrating residents, faculty, and staff who have contributed to building community throughout our residential campus. We will also discuss service and activism in the current social climate. The event will feature a panel discussion and a video presentation. Attendees will answer the question: “In the fierceness of now, how can you contribute to making the idea of the beloved community a reality?”
