Eastern and Central Europe Study Abroad Program - The Leadership for Social Good Study Abroad Program in Central and Eastern Europe offers interested students the opportunity to gain insight into global civil society, to learn about the challenges of creating and leading effective and sustainable social enterprises, and to make a positive impact by working closely with a non-profit organization in Budapest, Hungary. On September 19, there will be an information session in Scheller (RSVP @ ile.gatech.edu/studyabroad)
Impact Speaker Series - Impact is a weekly series of talks, held on Wednesdays @ 4:30 pm, which provides the opportunity to network with and learn from successful leaders and entrepreneurs from the corporate and non-profit sectors. The next speaker is Fran Dramis, who will be speaking in Room 200 of Scheller at 4:30 PM. See the full list of speakers at ile.gatech.edu/impact.
- MGT 4811- Organizational Leadership Speaker Forum is a 1 credit course that can be taken up to three times. The course is structured around Georgia Tech’s Impact Speaker Series. During the weeks when there is a speaker the class consists of attending the talks, with the remaining four class meetings focused on discussing key leadership concepts and summarizing the lessons learned from the series. Each semester the Impact provides students an opportunity to hear from 10 organizational leaders from various sectors of the economy. This is an option to consider for Spring 2020.
