American Red Cross Club General Meeting

Primary tabs

Attention GT students! Mark your calendars - our first general meeting/event of the semester will be on Monday, September 16 at 6PM in Harrison Square (next to the Rosa Parks statues and the Steam Engine lawn in front of Tech Tower).

This event will be outdoors because we will be making tie dye shirts for donation to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for hospitalized children. Please spread the word about this philanthropy event and plan to join us that evening for a fun and rewarding experience!

We will provide blank children's sized t-shirts and tie dye kits with instructions for you to work on, and if you would like to make one for yourself, please bring a plain white/light-colored t-shirt of your own to tie dye! No previous experience necessary!  We are inviting all new/prospective and continuing American Red Cross Club members to attend this event as we will also have a sign-in table to log your participation points. Executive board members will be present to answer all your questions for the semester! Even if you don't plan to participate in the tie-dye we would love to see you stop by!

We are open to all majors and are a Civic Engagement organization on campus that focuses on volunteering/community service, philanthropy, and emergency preparedness. We also organize blood drives on campus regularly! Please fill out the following form to be on this year's email list, which will be the primary mode of communication between the club and members for event updates: https://forms.gle/W3GpcwJG5kQZ53oL7 Be sure to find us on Facebook to see what we've been up to: @gtblooddrives We look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon! Feel free to email gtredcross@gmail.com if you have any questions.
