Boren Awards Information Session (Undergraduate and Graduate)
September 12, 5:00 - 6:00 PM
Student Center, Crescent Room
Start planning now for 2012-2013! Georgia Tech is pleased to welcome Sarah Gleisner, representative of the Institute of International Education, to talk about the Boren Awards for international study. Boren Scholarships and Fellowships provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to add an important international and language component to their educations. Boren Awards focus on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are critical to U.S. national security broadly defined, and underrepresented in study abroad. Awards can fund a significant part of your study abroad (up to $20,000 for undergraduates and $30,000 for graduate students), and recipients also gain a significant advantage for future work with the US government/federal service.
Please join Ms. Gleisner and your GT Campus Representative to learn more about this significant funding opportunity. Application deadlines are in January 2012.
