Waffle House is looking for someone to identify and cultivate compelling stories about the Waffle House Culture and Brand for both internal and external audiences. This is a salary position. Candidates with the following skills are encouraged to apply: 

• Strong reporting skills, writing skills and video production skills
• Ability to convey information in a clear, concise and conversational manner
• Excellent interviewing skills (journalism background preferred) including connecting with the subject and making them feel at ease in the conversation
• Ability to interact professionally and build relationships
• Editing, proofreading and formatting skills
• Naturally inquisitive
• Strong research skills, including the ability to navigate online search engines
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Desktop publishing, design, and video editing skills preferred
• Basic photography skills
• Multimedia experience
• Creative design
• Ability to work on multiple projects with various deadlines
• Ability to travel overnight 2-3 days at a time twice a month
