Georgia Institute of Technology’s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts is at the forefront of interdisciplinary teaching and research examining the human context of engineering, science, and technology. The College is comprised of six schools — Economics; History and Sociology; Literature, Media, and Communication; Modern Languages; Public Policy; and The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs — and offers bachelors and masters of science and doctoral degrees. Graduates are prepared for professional leadership in government, business, national security, law, medicine, technology, and new media. The College is named in honor of former Atlanta Mayor Ivan Allen Jr.
