Call for Artwork: Interpretations of Sustainable Business

Primary tabs

The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business (“Center”) invites members of the Georgia Tech community—students, faculty, staff, and alumni—to submit artwork for a permanent installation in the Center.

Artwork will illustrate the history, goals, impact, places, key figures, companies, materials, and services related to sustainable business. Artwork may relate to environmental sustainability (e.g., the circular economy, climate change) or social dimensions of sustainability (e.g., human rights, community engagement, equity). Individual submissions must be 5"x5" and no thicker than 1/4". Diverse materials are welcome (e.g., canvas, fabric, metal, paper, photograph, recycled material, wood). Individual pieces will be mounted behind glass in a large frame.

The Center will select 30 pieces. If your piece is chosen, it will be purchased for $100.

Artists may submit up to three pieces of artwork for consideration, and up to three may be selected.

If you would like to submit artwork, please contact Jennifer Lux (Jennifer.Lux@scheller.gatech.edu) to request the application. Georgia Tech Vendor Registration (for payment purposes) must be completed prior to the submission of artwork.

The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2018.

This project is funded by a Creative Curricular Initiatives grant from the Georgia Tech Office of the Arts and the Georgia Tech Arts Council.
