Incoming first-year students are encouraged to attend New Student Convocation on Sunday, August 19, from 5 - 6 p.m. Just as Commencement is a ceremony that marks the completion of study, New Student Convocation celebrates a student's entry into higher education and serves as the Institute's official welcome to the campus community. During the ceremony, we acquaint new students with Georgia Tech's mission and traditions. Convocation will be streamed live and will also be available to watch the following week on YouTube.
