Graduate Convocation

All incoming and current graduate students are invited to attend Graduate Convocation on Wednesday, August 29, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at McCamish Pavilion. This event serves as the Institute's official welcome to the campus community. In addition, the event will inspire our students to work to reach their highest potential while at Tech, acquaint new students with Georgia Tech's mission and traditions, and build camaraderie amongst graduate students at Tech. 

Family members, current graduate students, and friends may attend to celebrate their student's entry into Georgia Tech. Tickets are not required.

Immediately Following Graduate Convocation

Students are invited to Graduate Picnic sponsored by Grad SGA. Held on Tech Green, students may take a shuttle or walk over after the Graduate Convocation ceremony. This is a free event for all graduate students and their guests.
