New Sod at Russ Chandler Stadium May Impact Travel

Ga Tech Athletics will begin to re-sod Russ Chandler stadium the week of July 18th through the end of September.
Start Date: May 21, 2018
End Date: June 1, 2018
Campus Detours or Interruptions:
No road closures are anticipated, however increased construction traffic will be expected on Hemphill, Ferst and 5th Street.
On-street parking will be not be available during this period.
It is possible lanes may be temporarily blocked as trucks back on and off of Ferst. To facilitate these instances a flag person will be provided.
Summary
Look out for possible delays while Russ Chandler Stadium gets a refresh of new sod.
