NIH Director’s Pioneer Award Overview

Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering chair, Susan Margulies, Ph.D., will give an overview of the NIH Director’s Pioneer Award. The research award is open to all career stages with $700K in direct costs per year for up to five years.

Part of the NIH High-Risk, High Reward Research program, the award supports scientists with outstanding records of creativity pursuing new research directions to develop pioneering approaches to major challenges in biomedical and behavioral research.
