This information session sponsored by the School of Materials Science and Engineering includes hands-on activities and information on cutting edge research — shape memory polymers restoring its shape upon heating, amorphous metal bouncing balls, superconducting levitating magnets — as well as our latest scholarship program and expanded curricular offerings. Materials Science and Engineering at Tech is the largest and most diverse Materials School in the country, with a bachelor's degree ranked #7 by U.S. News & World Report.
