Primary tabs

Georgia Tech’s 2018 Women’s Leadership Conference will take place Saturday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Historic Academy of Medicine. Registration ends Friday, March 2.

The one-day conference includes several workshops, panel discussions, and a networking fair.

The mission of the conference is to inspire and prepare the women of Georgia Tech to become equal partners in the leadership of their professions, communities, and society. This year’s theme, “Silent No More,” focuses on empowering women to speak out, create change, and advocate for themselves and others.

“It will be an amazing opportunity to learn how your voice can really create change,” said Daniella Noronha, a member of the Women's Leadership Conference planning committee. “The day will be full of inspiring workshops and speakers that will teach us all to raise our voices in order to transform our workplaces, communities, and the world.”

The Women’s Leadership Conference also honors members of the community who demonstrate exemplary leadership abilities, in the categories of undergraduate student, graduate student, alumna, faculty, and staff. The deadline to nominate award recipients is Feb. 21. Nominations can be submitted here: wlc.gatech.edu/award-nominations.

The Women's Leadership Conference began in 1998 as a way to celebrate, recognize, and learn more about the strong leadership exhibited by women at Georgia Tech.

The cost is $15 for students and $20 for non-students. Registration includes breakfast and lunch. There is a five-dollar discount if you register on Feb. 20, and registration closes March 2. Register online.
