Join the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy for a discussion with Russell McMurry regarding public safety, traffic management, and highway reconstruction. Commissioner McMurry is the current commissioner for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), a $3 Billion state agency which employs over 4,000 people.
He has been with GDOT since joining the agency in 1990 as an engineer training. The commissioner also serves as a board member for MARTA, the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA), and chairs the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
The event is free and open to the public.
