This D3 workshop will teach the basics of html, css, and javascript and build on that knowledge to explore components of d3 to manipulate scalable vector graphics, load data from JSON and CSV, create shapes and paths, and by the end create a simple line graph from a data set.

Computers in the classroom are limited so bring your own laptop with your favorite text editor. Basic programming experience would be helpful, but this tutorial is designed so you can learn how to code for the first time.
