Prospective Student Info Session

Primary tabs

We typically hold three information sessions during each academic year: two in the fall and one in the spring. Prospective students get the opportunity to visit our campus and learn about city planning, our faculty research and engagement, what our graduates do while in school and after graduation, and each of our degree programs. These sessions generally last about four hours in the morning, with the opportunity for one-on-one time with faculty upon request.

This information session includes introductions from the Chair, an overview of the Masters in City and Regional Planning (MCRP) Program, the City and Regional Planning Ph.D. Program, the Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems and Technology (MS-GIST) Program, and the Masters of Science in Urban Design (MS-UD) Program. Our Academic Advisor, Katrina Patton, will go over the admissions process and our Student Planning Association (SPA) will speak about their organization and offer a campus tour.

If you are a prospective student, please register here at least 48 hours in advance.
