A Path Forward — Together: Action Team Updates

Primary tabs

The Georgia Tech community is continuing the important work of addressing challenges in four broad categories – student mental health, including a focus on both counseling and psychiatric services; campus culture; LGBT+ community issues; and campus safety.

On Sept. 23, President G.P. "Bud" Peterson announced the formation of four action teams of faculty, staff, students, and community leaders to research each area, gain community input, and recommend a path forward by Nov. 1., if at all possible.

Leaders from each action team will share updates on their progress on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 11 a.m. to noon in Room 152, Clough Commons. Each team will provide a brief overview of their work to date, solicit campus input, and answer questions.

Note: The formation and charge of the Campus Safety Action Team has been delayed pending the completion of the investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation of the Sept. 16 incident on campus.
