Dr. Erik Gartzke is Professor and Director of cPASS at the University of California, San Diego. He previously held posts at Columbia and Penn State University. His research focuses on the liberal peace and international institutions. His research has appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, International Organization, and the Journal of Politics. He is currently working on two books that focus on globalization and democratic peace respectfully. Dr. Garzke obtained his Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
