September 28, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm (EDT)

Georgia Tech’s online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMS CS) program invites you to participate in our September OMS CS Digital Career Seminar Series focused on pursing an academic or research career by earning your Ph.D. after completing the OMS CS program! The “digital seminar” will be hosted on the Shindig platform and will provide opportunities for interactive conversation with the guest speaker.

September’s guest speaker, Bobbie Eicher, is a current computer science Ph.D. Student at Georgia Tech and a former OMS CS student. Bobbie currently works on the IBM “Jill” Watson artificial intelligence teaching assistant (TA) project with Prof. Ashok Goel (a project that was recently featured in the New York Times). Chat with Bobbie about setting yourself up for a career in academia and what it takes to apply to and earn your Ph.D. after being in the OMS CS program (or any online master’s program)!
