Annie Martin (aka Mossin’ Annie), owner of Mountain Moss Enterprises in Brevard, NC and Timber Press author of The Magical World of Moss Gardening, provides valuable insights on how to transform your garden or lawn into a serene retreat and eco-friendly landscape showcasing the world’s oldest living land plants – mosses!

The aesthetic appeal of mosses is further complemented by their environmental benefits. Gardeners can eliminate the need for chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. Mosses taste bad to typical garden pests (including deer) and are not subject to diseases that plague other plants.
