Admissions Embarks on Peach State Tour
Primary tabs
Georgia Tech’s admission team is hitting the road on a statewide tour that will put them within 50 miles of every Georgian.
The Institute is again teaming up with Georgia State University and the University of Georgia for the annual Peach State Tour. The three universities will hold free information sessions for students and parents, as well as separate events for high school guidance counselors.
The tour will take the admissions officers to 23 different Georgia towns and cities. It kicks off Monday with sessions in Albany, Augusta and Peachtree City. It wraps up September 11 with an event in Kennesaw.
The three colleges will talk about their own offerings and share what’s new on their respective campuses. Tech recently launched the Georgia Tech Scholars program, which will offer automatic acceptance to Georgia valedictorians and salutatorians beginning with the next incoming class.
Admissions officers will also answer questions about the college application process.
