OUE: Enhancing Your Undergraduate Academic Experience

Primary tabs

The Office of Undergraduate Education (oue.gatech.edu) is comprised of several departments that provide programs and services that enrich the learning experience of undergraduates. Whether your student needs help with a challenging course; wants to identify an undergraduate research opportunity; or plans to find a co-op or internship position, OUE can help.

The Center for Academic Success (CAS) provides students with services to guide them with earning their degree, to enhance their study habits and to support them in academic areas in which they desire personal improvement. One example of their programs is the Success Summit. This is a half-day program, offered at the beginning of each semester, designed for students who want to enhance their academic skills. They learn strategies for time management, study skills, developing resilience and grit, test taking, overcoming test anxiety, learning strategies and goal setting. The Fall Summit will be held on August 18 in Clough 273 from 1-5 p.m. Visit success.gatech.edu to learn more about this program and to register for the upcoming session.

The Center for Academic Enrichment (CAE) gives students the opportunity to engage with one another and faculty in research and innovation programs, academic seminars, campus-wide engagement programs, living-learning communities, and other events in which they can share ideas, explore possibilities, and take initiative. enrichment.gatech.edu

The Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain (CSLS) facilitates campus-wide, interdisciplinary efforts linking teaching, research, and action to create sustainable communities, in Georgia, the United States, and around the globe. CSLS convenes faculty, post-doctoral fellows, staff, students, and off-campus partners to examine key themes related to sustainable community-building and to support new directions in research, teaching, and action related to engineering, science, technology, design, and policy. serve-learn-sustain.gatech.edu

The Center for Career Discovery and Development (C2D2) provides career education, resources, and experiential opportunities to Georgia Tech students across all majors. C2D2 helps students find employment in private, public, and non-profit sectors, prepare for graduate and professional school, explore entrepreneurship, and pursue research careers or fellowships, become involved with community or public service, and much more. C2D2 also helps place students in co-op and Internship programs while they are still students. careerdiscovery.gatech.edu

The Honors Program (HP) combines the challenging academic standards of one of the world's finest research universities with the closer student-faculty connections one might expect to find at smaller colleges. Its mission is to create a lively environment where students and faculty members learn from each other through a common commitment to intellectual inquiry, careful analysis, and energetic exchange of ideas. honorsprogram.gatech.edu
