We invite you to join us for this public talk by Dr. Ruthie Yow, finalist for the position of Service Learning & Partnerships Specialist in the Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain.
Ruthie Yow is a researcher, teacher, and community worker; she focuses on community-based learning, educational justice, and student activism. She received a PhD in American Studies from Yale University in 2014, and she is currently a Marion L. Brittain Fellow in the Writing and Communication Program at Georgia Tech. Her book, Students of the Dream: Resegregation in a Southern City, is forthcoming from Harvard University Press this fall
