Primary tabs

Want to maximize your graduate training experience? Want to learn how to be an effective mentor and mentee? The Office of Graduate Studies is excited to offer a one-hour session to train graduate students on a range of tools and topics aimed at increasing the likelihood of successful mentoring relationships.

Kyla Ross, Director of Graduate Training for the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering, will guide participants through topics such as improving self-awareness, defining and aligning expectations, and communicating effectively. The purpose of this mentorship training session is to increase awareness and appreciation for the diversity of approaches and needs that both mentors and mentees have, as well as to equip participants with tools for success. Benefits include increased productivity, confidence, wellness, and job marketability.

Please join us from 12 – 1PM in Clough Room 423.  Cookies and drinks will be provided for this brown bag session.  Feel free to bring your lunch and eat during the presentation.  Please RSVP via the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GJ9X87G.  Please address any questions to James Black (jblack@gatech.edu).
