Students Affiliated with OIE Honored at the Annual Student Honors Celebration

On April 20th, the annual Student Honors Celebration was held. The Office of International Education is proud say that 38 of the students awarded are affiliated with our office in some way. We will be highlighting these students this week in a small series of articles in order to congratulate them for their amazing accomplishments.

 

Benjamin Ashby went on the Denning T&M Program in 2015 and 2016. He received the G. D. Jain Outstanding Senior in Biomedical Engineering Award.

Jill Domzalski went on the Eastern Europe Program in 2016. She received the Naresh K. Malhotra Scholarship from the Scheller College of Business.

Emily King went on the Oxford Program in 2013. She received the James Dean Young Writing Award from the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.

Devavret Makkar is a current international student at Georgia Tech. He received the Donald V. Jackson Fellowship from the College of Computing.

Akilesh Srikanth is a current international student at Georgia Tech. He received the Donald V. Jackson Fellowship from the College of Computing.

Charles Wang went on the Budapest Summer in Math Program.  He received the Love Family Foundation Scholarship presented by the Institute.
