Rodolphe Barrangou is an Associate Professor of Food Science and the Todd R. Klaenhammer Distinguished Scholar in Probiotics Research at North Carolina State University. His research focuses on the biology and genetics of CRISPR-Cas immune systems in bacteria. He has won several awards for his research the most recent being the 2017 NAS Award in Molecular Biology. Students and Post-Docs are welcome to join Dr. Barrangou for this lecture and discussion on professional development.
