Jazz pianist Vijay Iyer is a MacArthur Fellow and GRAMMY nominee whose award-winning trio (Tyshawn Sorey, drums; Stephan Crump, bass) made its name with two tremendously acclaimed and influential albums, Accelerando (2012) and Historicity (2009).
