Zajic Chosen for LexisNexis Dean’s Excellence Award

Alenka Zajic has been selected for the 2016-2017 LexisNexis Dean's Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding educators from among untenured junior faculty at the assistant professor level.

Award recipients are selected for extraordinary effectiveness in classroom teaching, educational innovations, inspiration transmitted to students, direct impact and involvement with students, and impact on the postgraduate success of students. 

Zajic has been a member of the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) faculty for four years, where she teaches Introduction to Signal Processing, Electromagnetics, and Physical Foundations of Computing. This past spring, Zajic received the Richard M. Bass/Eta Kappa Nu Outstanding Teacher Award, which is determined by a majority vote of the ECE senior class, and is a past participant in the Class of 1969 Teaching Scholars Program, which is run by the Georgia Tech Center for Teaching and Learning.
