Chateaubriand Fellowship

A grant offered by the Embassy of France in the United States.  Allows doctoral students enrolled in American universities to conduct research in France for 4-9 months. Opportunities are available for STEM students, as well as those in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Chateaubriand fellows receive a monthly 1400 Euro stipend, a round trip ticket to France and health insurance. Knowledge of French is not mandatory but beneficial.
