The KSU German Poetry Contest is for learners of German across the state of Georgia. The program is in its 9th year, organized by Dr. Susanne Kelley, and features a different topic every year. This year approximately 200 poems were submitted from High School and College level learners. The winning poems are selected by KSU's German Studies Majors, together with the full- and part-time faculty of KSU’s German program. This year's topic was "German in the USA," and prizes were sponsored by a Campus Weeks grant from the German Embassy in Washington D.C.
