New Faces, Spaces for Division of Student Life
Primary tabs
The Division of Student Life started the fall semester following the completion of an office reconstruction in the Smithgall Student Services Building and the welcoming of six new appointments in three of its departments.
In the Office of Disability Services (formerly ADAPTS Disability Services), Taffey Cunnien was hired as the director and Rashad Morgan as the assistant director. Cunnien joins the Division after serving as the director of counseling and student support services at SCAD-Atlanta and Morgan after serving as college and transition specialist at the Florida Division of Blind Services. Disability Services recently relocated to the first floor of Smithgall.
In the Office of Greek Affairs, Jamison Keller joined the Division as the assistant dean and director and Amanda Fishman as its coordinator. Keller joins the Division with nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, spending the past 17 years working with the Greek community at California State University. Fishman joins the Division after recently earning her master’s degree in higher education administration from Auburn University.
Bonnie Weston, formerly the assistant director in the Office of Student Integrity, was named associate dean and director of the Office of Student Integrity. Weston has more than 10 years’ experience working in the realm of student conduct. The Office of Student Integrity also welcomed Dallas Flint, who joins as its coordinator after serving as an area coordinator and student conduct coordinator at Wheaton College.
Following the reorganization of the Division last spring, two Division departments have formally changed their names to better serve the diverse Georgia Tech community. Parent Programs is now Parent and Family Programs, and the Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement is now Student Engagement.
