When Patricia Ford, Miss Georgia and a Georgia Tech alumna, competed for the Miss America title on September 11, she outshined the competition, thanks to her computer-coded shoes designed by EE undergraduate Ryan Beckmann, HCC Ph.D. student and EE alumna Caitlyn Seim, and industrial design undergraduate Jordan Thomas.
