Institute Finance Support Team Works with Campus Counterparts

The Institute Finance Support Team (IFST) was created last year to help improve institutional effectiveness by providing constituents across the Institute with an independent resource who can assist with a variety of financial and administrative needs. An integral part of Institute Planning and Resource Management (IPRM), the team’s objective is to partner with campus units to assist with financial and administrative functions and projects, particularly in the areas of:

  • Accounting,
  • Budgeting,
  • Sponsored programs,
  • Procurement,
  • Internal controls, and
  • Financial compliance.

To ensure campus units receive integrated support, the team coordinates closely with Financial Services and Institute Budget Planning and Administration.

The Institute Finance Support Team has partnered with colleges, Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE), and central units on various projects that support the instructional, research, and service mission of the Institute. The team welcomes the opportunity to partner with and support Georgia Tech and Georgia Tech Affiliated Organizations.
