Georgia Tech vs. Jacksonville State (NCAA Softball Regional)

For the second straight season, the Georgia Tech Softball team has been picked as a host site for a regional in the NCAA Tournament, announced tonight live on ESPNU. The Yellow Jackets (49-9) are the No. 8 national seed and will host the Atlanta Regional, May 21-23, at Mewborn Field along with Oregon, Auburn and Jacksonville State.

Tech will open the tournament Friday night at 8 p.m. against fourth-seeded Jacksonville State on ESPN. No. 2 Oregon and No. 3 Auburn will play in the first game on Friday at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Every game from the Atlanta Regional will be televised live on the ESPN family of networks.
