ICE Programs: Computing in the Modern World Teacher Workshop

The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) will hold a 5 day Computing in the Modern World workshop July 12-16th, 2010 at Georgia Tech. Teachers must attend all 5 days, and participate in developing lesson plans during class, to receive 3 PLUs. Georgia's Computing in the Modern World course includes approximately 7-10 weeks of computer programming (see more info). The Computing in the Modern World course is based on the ACM's Model Curriculum for K-12 Education's Computer Science in the Modern World Level II course.
