Debbie Phillips is an entrepreneur and management professional with more than 25 years of experience specializing in the real estate industry. Before forming her own company The Quadrillion, an international consulting firm in 1997, Dr. Phillips served as Vice President for two national real estate firms consisting of a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential assets.
In addition to her corporate consulting and teaching, Debbie is currently serving as Executive Director for the Georgia Apartment Industry Education Foundation. She has also assists in the curriculum development and instruction for other real estate programs. Debbie serves as the Chair of the Institute of Real Estate Management’s Continuous Learning Advisory Board and as the Vice President of Education for IREM Georgia.
As a noted keynote speaker, author and career coach, her current research focuses in the areas of talent management, real estate and workforce development initiatives. Debbie holds a Master of Science degree in Housing & Consumer Economics, with an emphasis in Seniors Housing, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Journalism, both from the University of Georgia. Dr. Phillips completed her Ph.D. at Georgia Tech, where her research focused on Resident Satisfaction and Employee Engagement. Through her research, she developed an Employee Engagement Model for the Multi-Housing Sector within the Real Estate Industry.
