Please join the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, along with the Scheller College of Business and the Center for Health & Humanitarian Systems (CHHS), for a talk by Teresa Finley, of UPS.

Teresa M. Finley is Chief Marketing and Global Business Services Officer and a member of the UPS Management Committee. In this position, she is responsible for priority growth strategies, product development, and advancing marketing capabilities across 220 countries and territories where UPS serves.  Teresa also leads the customer communications, brand management, and public relations teams.

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Teresa is Chairperson of the advisory board for Catalyst, a global nonprofit research and advisory organization focused on expanding career opportunities for women, and Vice-Chair of the board of trustees for Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta.

Teresa received a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Marquette University and graduated from the Wharton Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Finley will speak at Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. 

About the Impact Speaker Series:

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership." The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders. The lecture series is sponsored by the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the Scheller College of Business, and the Center for Health & Humanitarian Systems (CHHS).

About the Center for Health & Humanitarian Systems (CHHS):

The Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems (CHHS) at Georgia Tech was created in 2007 with a vision of serving as an academic engine that improves the delivery of healthcare, disaster response, and long-term development though the discovery and translation of scientific methods and solutions in health and humanitarian systems.  The center’s activities in Research&Projects, Education, and Outreach aim to (i) address grand challenges, via designing and improving systems that meet the health and societal needs of people and communities when there are limited resources, many decision makers, and complex tradeoffs; and (ii)  transform the health and humanitarian sectors through the development and implementation of cutting edge solutions, capacity building, sharing of best practices, and creation of future leaders. CHHS activities include: a professional certificate program in Health & Humanitarian Supply Chain Management, which has been attended by participants who lived or worked in over 80 countries; an annual international Conference on Health & Humanitarian Logistics (HHL), now in its 8th year; and partnerships and collaborations with a wide variety of organizations including companies, United Nations bodies, governmental organizations, international or local non-governmental organizations, and other academic institutions.
