Basic Lab Safety

Geared toward students, this class covers basic lab survival skills such as using a shower and eyewash as well as what to do in the event of a chemical spill, gas cylinder safety and how to handle chemical waste. All persons working in labs must have safety training: this basic class is a good foundation that can be supplemented by hazard awareness training specific to each lab.
