Kaye Husbands Fealing Organizes the Symposium on the Science of Broadening Participation

Kaye Husbands Fealing, chair of Georgia Tech's Ivan Allen College School of Public Policy, organized the Symposium on the Science of Broadening Participation to discuss the building of a more diverse and agile STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) workforce, with particular attention paid to the underrepresentation of minorities, women, and persons with disabilities in relevant fields and the workforce. A national event sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the symposium took place February 25 - 26 in Arlington, Virginia.
