Red Cross Blood Drive

The American Red Cross is seeking donors to replenish its blood supply. In particular, the Red Cross is seeking donors who are Type O negative and Type B negative.

The drive is being promoted as a "Battle of the Bands" — a competition between the marching bands at Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. The winning school will receive recognition at the March 6 men's basketball game at Alexander Memorial Coliseum.

For more efficient processing, Red Cross representatives are strongly urging donors to schedule an appointment in advance. Walk-in will also be accommodated, but scheduled appointments will have priority.
