Bio

A retired Lockheed Martin Technical Fellow with special interest in computer architectures and artificial intelligence, David M. Smith is a lecturer with the Division of Computing Instruction in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Smith primarily teaches freshman courses in Matlab and Java. He earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Southampton University and a master’s degree in control systems from Imperial College London.
