Bio
A computer scientist and adjunct senior research scientist with the School of Computer Science in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Spencer Rugaber has worked both in industry and in academia, as well as served as program director for the Software Engineering and Languages Program at the National Science Foundation. A noted author, Rugaber wrote “LogiQL, a Query Language for Smart Databases” -- an article on program understanding included in the “Encyclopedia of Computer Science and Technology,” and numerous software engineering articles appearing in technical journals and conference proceedings. His research interests are in the area of software engineering, human-computer interaction, and cognitive science.
