Time to Register for Fall Housing

Whether your Georgia Tech student is a new incoming freshman or a returning graduate, it is time for him/her to plan for 2016-2017 academic year campus housing. Visit to see all that the Department of Housing has to offer and be sure go to the Buildings tab to read about and virtually tour each of our resident halls.

The fall 2016 campus housing application for new students opened January 12. Students are encouraged to complete the online application as soon as possible because room and roommate assignments are processed according to the housing application completion date. Once an application is completed, students may re-enter that application as many times as necessary (prior to a room assignment being made) to change their preferences and profiles.  This will NOT change the application completion date or position in the assignment process. Freshmen and Transfer students should have received a housing booklet in the mail.  Both of these informative resources can be found on the Department of Housing website, also.

Returning students may apply for fall housing February 2-28, 2016. Parents, encourage your student to monitor his/her GT email, the housing website, and their GT P.O. Box for information, updates, and brochures about the application process.
