Bio
Laura Alger is the academic advisor for the School of Building Construction. She provides information and counsel to undergraduate and graduate students regarding their academic pursuits and progress. Previously, Alger served as the Registrar’s academic advisor for the Office of the Registrar at Georgia Tech. She has been an academic advisor for over 10 years-with expertise in student services and streamlining academic processes. She hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master’s of Public Administration from Valdosta State University. During the fall semesters, she teaches GT 1000. In her free time, she creates art, and spends time with her cats and pugs.
