Few educational institutions love their science fiction like Georgia Tech, and that includes students, faculty, and staff alike.

So the Georgia Tech Alumni Magazine asked a well-known Trekkie and a would-be Sith Lord to weigh in on the matter, hopefully settling the debate once and for all.

Sherry Farrugia, managing director of Health Research Partnerships and director of the Georgia Institute of Technology and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Partnership, defends The Force. Gary May, dean and Southern Company Chair in the College of Engineering, proclaims that Star Trek reigns supreme.
