IEW: Peace Symphony by Paul D. Miller, aka DJ Spooky
Primary tabs
Peace Symphony by Paul D. Miller, aka DJ Spooky: 7:30 - 9:30pm, Ferst Center for the Arts. Inspired by the everyday stories of the last remaining survivors of the nuclear bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Paul D. Miller, aka DJ Spooky, has created Peace Symphony. The idea behind this electronic and acoustic musical portrait came from his personal interaction with eight survivors on Peace Boat’s 83rd Global Voyage where Miller recently served as a guest educator and artist-in-residence. The performance also features the Nouveau Classical Project quartet. This performance is presented as part of the Arts@Tech 2015-16 Season.
