DATHA Talk on Transportation and Aging

Join us for our kick-off DATHA Talk on Transportation and Aging by guest speaker Renee Autumn Ray. Renee is a Mobility Manager in the Aging and Health Resources Division at the Atlanta Regional Commission. At ARC, Renee leads and provides oversight on projects including a $1.8m human services transportation contract for DeKalb County; a technical assistance project to expand transportation access for dialysis patients; and a chronic disease prevention subcontract for Fulton County. Her talk will focus on “Simply Get There,” a trip discovery website for specialized transportation services that launched in March 2015. Renee has more than a decade of experience in urban planning, transportation policy, and public health and received a master’s degree in city and regional planning from UNC Chapel Hill.

Talks are held on the 2nd floor of the Health Systems Institute (HSI) Building, room 207. The address is: 828 West Peachtree Street NW Atlanta, GA 30332.

Parking:

Visitor parking is located directly in front of the HSI building entrance (Area 6 Visitor Lot off 5th Street across from Ray's Pizza) with an hourly rate of $1.50. Metered parking is also available.
